Marty, a native to Wisconsin, is excited to return to the Skylight stage as Frankie in Plaid Tidings. Previous Skylight credits include: John Parker in Animal Crackers, Anslemo in Man Of La Mancha, and the professor in South Pacific. Having received his education at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Marty is pleased to return home for the holidays. Marty's involvement with the NDTA's has transplanted him in states such as Ohio and Arizona. New York credits include: Booth! the musical, Mirrors of Desire and Brunch. Favorite credits include the role of Pippin, Pharoah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Roger in A New Brain, Ravenol in Show Boat, Dallas in Sweet Smell of Success and most recently in Milwaukee as Buck in Christopher Durangs Betty's Summer Vacation Marty can be seen this spring in Windfall's production of Sunday in the Park with George. He would like to thank his family for their endless support as well as extend a hand of gratitude to the family he has created here at the Skylight. He wishes everyone a Happy Holiday and a prosperous 2010.
Paul Helm
Skylight credits include The Pirates of Penzance, The Midnight Angel, Patience, South Pacific, The Mikado, and Iolanthe. He has also performed, directed, and music directed with the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, First Stage Children’s Theater, Florentine Opera Company, American Folklore Theatre, Greenbrier Valley Theatre, Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse, and the UW-Platteville Heartland Festival. Recent credits include Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business; The Producers; Forever Plaid; You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown; The Magic Flute; Guys on Ice; Harry Connick Jr.’s The Happy Elf; Joseph…Dreamcoat; and A Year with Frog and Toad. Upcoming performances include the Midwest premiere of Elmer Gantry with the Florentine Opera and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with First Stage. www.paulhelm.net
Scott Stratton
Scott is just thrilled to return to Milwaukee for the holiday season. He was previously seen on the Cabot stage as Kenny in White Christmas in 2007. Other Skylight credits include playing a Seabee in South Pacific, a heavy dragoon in Patience, and Man of La Mancha. Scott currently lives in Chicago with his wife, Jessica, and has recently performed as Pedro in Man of La Mancha, Garvin in Footloose, Sam in Crazy For You, Mr. Carter in Wonderful Life, Bryan in The Producers, and young Carriere in Phantom, all at Theatre at the Center in Munster, IN. Earlier this year, Scott played the hapless Leo Doyle in Ann Noble’s And Neither Have I Wings to Fly for Citadel Theatre in northern Illinois. By day, Scott stays very busy in Chicago working in the tremulous field of foreclosure real estate. Many thanks to the wonderful production staff of Plaid Tidings, and much love to his family.
Joe Fransee
Joe Fransee returns to The Skylight after appearing in WHITE CHRISTMAS, MIDNIGHT ANGEL, SOUTH PACIFIC and CHICAGO. He has also performed with The Boulevard Ensemble, Off the Wall Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare and Windfall Theatre. Joe is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.
