The Skylight Stars was created in 1998 to recognize and reward those donors who have made Endowment and Planned Gifts to Skylight Opera Theatre, as well as those who have supported major artistic initiatives or capital projects.

Members’ names are permanently listed on the Wall of Stars in the Broadway Theatre Center. Stars are also listed in program books, newsletters, the Annual Report and other materials, as appropriate. Finally, members are invited to exclusive Skylight Stars events.

To become a Skylight Star, the following guidelines have been established:

• A cash gift of $10,000 or more to Skylight Opera Theatre’s Permanent Endowment Fund
• A cash gift of $10,000 or more for artistic initiatives, organizational initiatives or capital asset purchases 
• A bequest of $10,000 or more indicated through the signing of a letter of intent 
• Naming Skylight Opera Theatre as a beneficiary of a charitable trust or irrevocable life insurance policy
